Prof. Dr. Arda Lembet Offered a New Perspective on Women’s Health at the YKKD – HSBC Panel

“Health begins where life begins — in the womb.” Prof. Dr. Arda Lembet, Founder of the LaraHealth Longevity Clinic, shared his scientific and
holistic perspective on women’s health at the panel entitled “Health Talks: A New Generation
Medical Approach to the Female Life Cycle,” organized in collaboration with the Women on Boards
Association (YKKD) and HSBC.

Prof. Lembet, who brought his multidisciplinary medical experience from the United States to Türkiye,
described his journey — from high-risk pregnancies to hormonal balance, metabolic health, and
longevity science — as “a deep respect for the female body.”

Emphasizing that every woman’s story is different, Lembet stated that the goal is “a healthier, longer,
and more conscious life.”

The panel was moderated by YKKD Board Member and Veni Vita Health CEO Beril Koparal. The
discussion addressed misconceptions about breast cancer screening, genetic predisposition,
estrogen use, and lifestyle factors.

Prof. Lembet highlighted the importance of regular check-ups and personalized risk assessments,
saying, “Breast cancer is not only a genetic disease; it is a process that can be prevented with
awareness.”

He emphasized the major importance of mammography in women over 40 and ultrasonography
screening for individuals with dense breast tissue.

Throughout the event, scientific knowledge, life experience, and intuitive awareness came together,
highlighting once again the importance of a holistic approach in women’s health.
