Türkan Gürsu, who graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003, where she received her English-language medical education, completed her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 2008. After completing her compulsory service, she worked at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital. Following her training at Altunizade Acıbadem Hospital, she obtained her certification in Assisted Reproductive Techniques. Between 2020 and 2022, she worked at the Health Sciences University Zeynep Kamil Women’s and Children’s Diseases Hospital.
Since 2011, she has been actively involved in academic work, publishing many national and international articles, book chapters, and presentations, most of which are authored by her. Her scientific works have been frequently cited by colleagues both in Turkey and abroad, and she has received several awards at various congresses for her contributions. She has taught numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different academic institutions. Since 2023, she has continued her academic endeavors with the title of Associate Professor.
Throughout her career, Türkan Gürsu has had the opportunity to work with many leading experts in her field, including world-renowned figures in infertility such as Prof. Dr. S. Kolibianakis, Prof. Dr. C. Venetis, Prof. Dr. L. Zepiridis, and Prof. Dr. Hulusi Bülent Zeyneloğlu, prominent names in gynecological oncology like the late Prof. Dr. Ali Ayhan and Prof. Dr. G. Grimbizis, as well as the leading authority in perinatology, Prof. Dr. Arda Lembet.
She currently provides services to her patients in her own clinic, specializing in treatments for repeated IVF failures, recurrent miscarriages, infertility treatments, IVF treatment, reproductive endocrinology, reproductive health, reproductive genetics, reproductive system regeneration, polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility surgeries (hysteroscopic, laparoscopic), polyp surgeries, vaginal aesthetic surgeries, cervical lesions, HPV lesions and treatments, HPV vaccination, myoma-fibroid treatments and follow-ups, benign ovarian lesions, gynecological surgeries (laparoscopic, vaginal, open surgeries), uterine surgeries (myomectomy, hysterectomy – abdominal/ vaginal/ laparoscopic), and urinary incontinence surgeries (BURCH).
