Deniz Özdemir is a functional medicine specialist, biohacker, clinician, and researcher who integrates individual and corporate health management, nutritional psychology, and physiology. She is currently a specialist at LaraHealth.
Gaining experience in health trends, research strategies, and health program design, Deniz Özdemir has worked with internationally renowned experts in functional medicine, including Dr. Jeffrey Bland. Her significant contributions in diet, supplementation, and IV nutrition protocols place her among the leading experts in biomarker optimization for longevity and health.
Deniz Özdemir began her career in 2014 as the Olympic Team Nutrition Specialist at the Turkish Judo Federation. In 2016, she continued as the Director of Children’s Nutrition at Merhaba Dünya Education. Her interest and expertise in sports medicine led her to consultancy roles at the Turkish Olympic Committee and the International Canoe Federation in 2018. During the same period, from 2018 to 2020, she worked as the Nutrition and Performance Medicine Consultant for the Turkish Canoe Federation.
Between 2018 and 2019, she served as a lecturer in Nutritional Medicine at Biruni University, Faculty of Health Sciences. From 2017 to 2019, she was the Director of Nutrition Services and Phytomedical Research at Ageless Institute Clinic. Additionally, she designed corporate health programs and worked as a Corporate Health Coordinator for institutions such as Şeker Yatırım Menkul Değerler and Mega Metal.
With a strong focus on R&D, Deniz Özdemir has been supporting BeneFarma in research and development since 2022.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Yeditepe University, as well as Master’s degrees in Phytotherapy and Nutrition & Dietetics. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare at Alcalá University (Madrid), where her research focuses on AI applications in medical diagnostics, biomedical data, telemedicine, and health management.
