Dr. Dilek Yazıcı graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (English Division) in 1999. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency in 2004 at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine and her subspecialty training in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in 2008 at the same institution.
From 2011 to 2014, she worked as a faculty member at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, earning the title of Associate Professor in 2012.
Since 2014, Dr. Yazıcı has been a faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine at Koç University School of Medicine, where she was promoted to Professor in 2018.
With numerous national and international publications on diabetes mellitus, obesity, thyroid diseases, and their complications, she also serves as the Vice President of the Turkish Obesity Research Association.
