Beril Koparal began her career in 1997 by founding Deomed, a consulting company for the pharmaceutical industry, where she served as managing partner between 1997 and 2005. In 2005, she continued her professional journey by establishing BBMediks, a company specializing in healthcare communications. In 2010, she merged this company with Ogilvy Healthworld/CommonHealth, taking on the roles of General Manager of OCHWW Turkey and MENA Business Development Director, steering her career in a new direction.
In March 2015, she assumed the roles of General Manager of Zade Vital and Director of the İbni-Sina R&D Center. Between 2018 and 2019, she served as General Manager of Zade Global, introducing the Zade Vital brand to the U.S. market in Chicago.
After returning to Turkey in November 2019, Beril Koparal became the Global General Manager of Note Cosmetics, followed by a General Manager position at Kampotu Pharmaceuticals & Food. In 2023, she secured investment from a European fund and founded Veni Vita Health, where she continues to serve as General Manager. Additionally, she pursues entrepreneurial activities under Megatif Cosmetics & Food with brands such as “Tahinly” (healthy snacks), “ZihniFit” (a mental health platform), and “Anne Zevki” (mother-child products).
For the past eight years, she has been an instructor in the “Product Management Certificate Program,” a collaboration between Bilgi University and Koç University. She is one of the founders and mentors of the “Women Leaders Shaping Healthcare” program and a founding member of the Green Transformation Platform. Beril Koparal is also an active board member in various NGOs, including Women on Board Association, PWN Istanbul, and Village Teachers Support Association.
In addition to her scientific achievements, she has received prestigious awards such as the Rotary Excellence Awards and 2020 ISNET Woman CEO of the Year. She was featured in Ekonomist Magazine’s “Top 50 Most Successful Women CEOs” list between 2015 and 2020. She is also an author of four poetry books, numerous articles, and two thematic books. A mother of three daughters aged 27, 25, and 22, she continues to advance her entrepreneurial career in health, cosmetics, and sustainability, with a focus on expanding Veni Vita Health’s brands, developing innovative functional food products, and raising awareness about mental health.
Beril Koparal completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Medical Biological Sciences at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and earned her master’s degree in Medical Biology & Genetics at Istanbul University Institute of Health Sciences. Between 1993 and 1997, she worked as a research assistant in the Department of Medical Biology & Genetics at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, where she also pursued her doctoral studies. Additionally, she has completed business and phytotherapy master’s programs both in Turkey and abroad and has received various training in coaching, NLP, and image consultancy.
