William Mathes is a mechanical engineer specialized in transforming health performance through technology and creating the future of health with wearables, AI, and data. His focus is on changing how we understand, measure, and improve health at scale.

His work pioneers solutions that harness wearable technology to optimize health, performance, and recovery, contributing to the creation of data-driven ecosystems that deliver sustainable results.

He graduated from Muskegon Community College (USA) in 1997 where he specialized in solving complex problems through advanced technology integration and collaborating with industry leaders for product development and innovation.

He then worked at 21st Century Technologies (1999- 2006) where he engineered innovative manufacturing systems for clients, including NASA, the Department of Defense, and various Fortune 500 companies. He was instrumental in designing and building groundbreaking Six-Axis Machining Centers and collaborating with top industry players to push the limits of precision engineering.

William Mathes then joined Military Performance Engineering Department at Fort Bragg (2006- 2021) to apply cutting-edge engineering techniques to enhance soldier performance in high-stakes environments. He deployed wearable technology to track real-time metrics and performance, providing data-driven solutions to improve health outcomes for military personnel. He also developed data-backed weight loss programs, which helped bring soldiers back to peak performance through personalized fitness strategies.

In 2021, William became a certified Yoga Alliance Instructor and Breathwork Specialist. He has since designed and delivered over 300 specialized yoga sessions, focusing on injury recovery and performance optimization for military and first responder communities.

He currently serves as the Engineering Business Development Manager for Garmin International, leading business development initiatives in the sports and fitness sector, expanding Garmin’s advanced wearable technologies into new markets.
